Our sweet girl Ms. Houby is a Carolina (original American prairie dog) who came to us from a shelter in 2001 as a sprightly 1 year old. Houby is a curious free spirit and very aware of her surroundings, and she loves exploring. She is a “leaner” who is very sweet with people, especially infants and other children. Yet, Houby is very choosy when it comes to her 4-legged playmates. Because of a notoriously delicate tummy, Houby has a low tolerance for many store-bought treats; and this was our initial inspiration to create homemade treats for dogs!

Meet Mr. Junka, a 7 year
old cairn terrier. Despite Junka’s name, he is a dapper dog of elegance
who loves the finer things in life. A diminutive pooch whose likes include
being out on the office terrace watching the world go by, and romping in fresh,
white, fluffy snow. Junka is full experienced in good doggie cuisine.
A true terrier to the core,
his strong mind and particularity about food taste and quality show through in
his willingness to speak his mind by leaving the “disapproval food” around his bowl.
