Bark
in the Park is a 5k/3.2
mile run (for people) and walk (also for people, with or without dog) to raise
funds and awareness for The Anti Cruelty
Society, Chicago's oldest and largest, private open-admission human
society. This year was their 19th annual event that kicked off last Saturday
May 4th at Montrose Harbor beach. It is such a fantastic event that Yappy Bones
proud to be part of it.
Last Saturday was
a perfect day of camaraderie amongst us dog lovers, and our lovely pups. Thousands
of dogs and their humans attended this year's event. We provided yummy healthy
treats for those happy puppies after the fun run/walk. Dogs need little
something, too, right?
Besides the 5K run/walk, there were so many
activities for both people & dogs. Our CFO Junka had so much fun
meeting new friends. Big or small he likes to know them all. He tried a dog
obstacle course for the first time ever. That was fun & challenging for
him. He also tried doggy physical training - tough! There were a pet
massages, dog tattoos, a nail clipping spa, souvenir photo booth and more. Hope
you can join us there next year!!
