As we
all know how much our chubby CFO, Junka, loves food, so he is definitely a
speedy eater. His love of food has grown stronger lately or.... maybe his inner
woof kicked in. He tends to gulp his food instead of politely chewing it like
good-mannered dogs do. All this rush just so he can run to me afterward for the
traditional, after-meal Yappy Bones treats.
A dog
who gobbles down food can develop health issues such as indigestion, vomiting,
bloating, improper nutrient absorption or even death. So I have been looking
for a special designed bowl that can slow down his eating by adding an
obstacle. Here are some of the option I found....
Pssst... he may be upset
that I tell you this. It was so funny watching him eating from his new bowl. He
was frustrated & upset, even stepping back and growling and barking at the
bowl. After couple meals, he finally made peace with his new bowl. He is now a
slow[er] eater.
